Those who would like to stay at Quinta das Águias and benefit from its harmonious nature can lodge within the closed space of the 5 hectare farm. There are two available buildings: The Guesthouse, an ancient stone farmhouse-type “Casa de Campo”, typical of the Minho region, which has been transformed into a cozy guesthouse with modern comforts, and the Peacock Cottage, a comfortable restored old barn, with a contemporary touch.
The Guesthouse comprises of 2 suites and one twin bedroom, with its own
private bathroom, a spacious living room, with sitting and dining space, a woodstove and a TV.
The guesthouse also has a fully equipped kitchen for self-catering.
The Magnolia suite
can sleep up to 4 guests and the Ginkgo suite up to 3. Both suites have a woodstove for heating
in winter. Extra beds are available upon request. Guests have the possibility to rent an
individual suite or room while sharing the common living room and kitchen, or to rent the
guesthouse as a whole.
The Peacock cottage is an open space, combining dining, sitting
and sleeping, with a separate bathroom and fully equipped kitchen. It has two beds, with the
possibility to place two extra beds, to a maximum of 4 guests. The cottage has a TV,
air-conditioning and its private covered terrace.
